Wow I left the blogging world for a while there! Life and college has been crazy and I just lost it! Well a lot has happened sense I last posted, many good and some bad. So instead of me writing a whole bunch about what has happened, I will just do pictures! :)

My little Peanut!!

I seriously got the cutest most precious little peanut as a nephew!! I seriously have been wanting to become an auntie and forever and when I found out my sister was pregnant and they were moving from Idaho to Vegas ( a lot closer to where I am) I couldn't hold in my excitement. His due date was 11-12-13 but he came 3 weeks early!
The story from Auntie allies view point: I was home for fall break and that Sunday my parents and I decided to go down to Vegas for my brother-in-laws birthday. I had been begging to put up the crib in the baby's room because I was just so darn excited. Well it didn't really seem like anybody wanted to but my sister wanted to have me be apart of the festivities of putting up the babies room so Jordan and my dad hurry and put it up. Well I was going to stay for the next two days and help my sister and bro clean up the nursery and just organize things. Well I thought they had already done it earlier so I decided I would just come back home. Well I did and I decided to go up with my brother on Monday night back to Vegas and then come home on Tuesday. Well my brother and I got to their house Monday night and Jordan said that Anj has been in the bathroom all night throwing up. So we didn't ever see her so we just thought she ate something bad. Well we were sleeping in the living room and I hear them getting things together and they left the house. Well I thought they were just going somewhere really fast! Well they decided that sense she had been throwing up she didn't have very much fluid in her body so they went to the hospital to just have some fluid put back in her. Well they got to the hospital and they told them you're having a baby today! I woke up to a call saying the baby is here?!? say what!! my parents were on their way and they came and picked us up and we all went over to the hospital to meet my new and FIRST nephew!!! Not only did my mom cry the first time she saw him but I had a few little tears! He seriously is a precious little peanut!! oh my goodness I was only with him for a couple hours before I had to head back to college and I love that little man so much! Braden Clark sure joined an awesome family and we all love him oh so much!! ! I just can't wait for Thanksgiving so I can hold that little peanut again!

Happiness

Happiness is something that I cherish a lot in my life. I am so grateful that I have the opportunity to feel happiness. Here are some people that lead to some of my happiness !!!

First one is my family, I just got a new nephew and seriously he has brought so much joy in my life and I didn't think that I could love someone so much with just knowing him and seeing him for a couple of hours. My family is always there for me and I don't know what I would do without them.

      
Second is my roommates, seriously I don't know what I would do without my roommates that I have. They have taught me so much about life and I look up to them SO MUCH!!! I love how we can just have random chats about anything! Even though Mellica and Kristen tease me sometimes I know that it is out of love and I seriously couldn't have asked for any better girls!!

And last is my Savior Jesus Christ. I have come to know and love him so much throughout these last couple of months and I wouldn't trade anything in the world for what I know and what I have felt. The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints has brought the most happiness into my life. Going to Church every Sunday and feeling that joy and love is amazing.  I have this photo has my background on my lap top and it reminds me that he LOVES ALL of his children. He knows me by name and knows my needs and my wants. I love the Gospel so much and I can't wait to share it!!

The Savior Loves Me

• As I have been to college for a little over a month I have realized a lot of things. Such as
• I miss my moms cooking (college food isn't as great as I thought it would be)
• I miss my queen size bed (I love sharing my room with my awesome roommate, but I would like my nice soft queen size bed back :) ) 
• I miss my best friend Kelsey (It just happened that my roommates name is Kelsey and it makes me miss my best friend back home more and more.
• I miss the warm weather of St. George (although it hasn't been that cold it has been cold enough that I need the warmth of Sunny St. George back) 
• The most important thing I have realized is that my Savior Jesus Christ, loves me. 

I have had many hard things thrown at me while over this month and it has been quite a ride. I have learned how to handle relationship with roommates, how to do all my school work and make dinner and go to work all in one night ( doesn't sound so bad.. but some nights it is), I have learned that I procrastinate and maybe that is why that last one is hard! I have had to rely on the help from my loving Heavenly Father. He has billions of children but he knows me Allison Madsen and what I need and the best way to help me. He knows that I am stubborn at times, and he seems to humble me. He answers my prayers every night. Even if they don't come automatically or it isn't the answer I wanted, He answers them.  At times when I have felt so alone and all I have wanted to do was go home and be with my parents He has put his arm around me and made me feel like on in a million. He has made me realize that life isn't as hard as I had made it seem in high school.. (sorry parents) That wearing a smile everyday makes the day 10 X better and I am a firm believer of that. I am going through something that may seem so small to others but it is a HUGE thing to me and really I have been waiting for an answer for a couple years now and all I know is that the answer is coming but we go by the man upstairs timing now ours :)! I am so grateful for the relationship that I have made with the one who means the most to me. I wouldn't trade all the hardships and trials I have had to face while in this last month because I wouldn't have experienced the LOVE that he has for me without all of the trials.

• I decided that I better post some pictures of my cute house! I love it here and I wouldn't trade being here at college for anything! It has taught me so much and I have developed a friendship with my Father in Heaven!

FIRST FOOTBALL GAME AND PAINT DANCE!

• This last Friday we had our first home Football games! It was my 1st college football game and I was actually quite excited to actually see a good football team considering all I had really ever saw was my high school team. Enough said. We were playing a team from up north and we smoked them 46-0! The crowd was going wild the whole time. I decided to go with my friend from St. George Lauren because lets face it, 1. I still don't have really any friends and 2. because Lauren is amazing! Then we left the game early to go get ready for the PAINT DANCE where they set up on the practice field where they were setting up a huge stage with lights and a dj. Lauren Kayla and I decided to all go get matching shoes, shirts and socks and so we decided to get ready and we headed over. Right as we got to the practice field it just decided to start raining on us so we were jumping in mosh pits, being squirted with paint while it was pouring. I kind of got sick of it after a while but it is something that will be a high light throughout this year! I am starting to really love College and there will be many more adventures to come!
